Peter Anton EISWERTH and Apollonia BENZ family

Peter Anton Eiswerth (or Eiswirth) was born and baptized on 21 October 1791 in Zeiskam, Bavaria to Marcus Eiswirth and Catharina Francisca Heinrich.

He married Apollonia Benz on 11 January 1813 in Zeiskam. Apollonia was born 14 March 1791 in Zeiskam to Johannes Petrus Benz and Eva Catharina Foerster.

Peter and Apollonia had 6 children in Zeiskam. In the 1830s, the family moved to Schoenenberg, Bavaria.Two of their sons lived the rest of their lives there, but the rest of the family immigrated to Lycoming County, Pennsylvania in 1849.

Apollonia died in March 1861 and Peter died on 24 June 1867. They were both buried at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Bastress, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.

Their children were:
  1. Lawrence Eiswerth (7 May 1817 - 6 Oct 1888) married Anna Maria Dietrich (14 Sep 1817 - 22 Jul 1882). They lived in Limestone Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
  2. Anna Maria Eiswerth (26 Oct 1817 - 29 Oct 1818) lived and died in Zeiskam.
  3. Ludwig (Louis) Eiswerth (28 Mar 1820 - 29 Apr 1909) married Theresia Westrich (11 May 1822 - 3 Mar 1902). They lived in Schoenenberg and Kuebelberg, Bavaria.
  4. Marcus Eiswerth (20 Jan 1824 - 16 Apr 1885) married Anna Maria Lill (abt 1825 - 16 Dec 1870). They lived in Schoenenberg and Kuebelberg, Bavaria.
  5. George Eiswerth (27 Jan 1827 - 28 Nov 1894) married Margarita Lorson (6 Mar 1830 - 2 Nov 1905). They lived in Limestone Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
  6. Barbara Eiswerth (2 Jun 1833 - 30 Jan 1912) married Jacob Dietrich (Dec 1832 - 4 Jun 1921). They lived in Limestone Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
