Kasper Weiss and Maria Anna Huber


Kasper Weiss was born circa 1786 in Heimbach, Baden. He was the son of Josephus Weiss and Anna Barbara Weiss. He married Maria Anna Herr on 19 February 1816 in Heimbach. Maria was born circa 1794 in Heimbach to Lorenz Herr and Anastasia Trenkle.

Kasper died in 1838 and Maria died in 1862.

Kasper Weiss and Maria Anna Herr had 7 children, all born in Heimbach:
  1. Barbara Weiss (1816-1887) married Joseph Grasser (circa 1814 - ?).
  2. Maria Anna Weiss (1819-1864) married Plazidus Strub (circa 1821 - ?).
  3. Josephus Weiss (1821 - ?) married 1st Clara Rieder (1821 - ?) and married 2nd Rosalia Baer (1837 - ?).
  4. Joseph Anton Weiss (1822 - 1822).
  5. Konradus Weiss (1823 - 1860) married Rosina Moser (1822 - ?).
  6. Kresszentia Zaezillia Weiss (1825 - ?).
  7. Ursula Weiss (1830 - 1905) married Johannes VonBank (1827-1894).

Johann VonBank and Theresia Baer Family


Johann VonBank (or Bank) was born 7 December 1806 in Bleichheim, Baden. He was the son of Simon VonBank and Eva Eisele. Johann married Theresia Baer on 12 February 1827 in Bleichheim. She was born 24 December 1806 in Bleichheim to Josephus Baer and Theresia Hensle.

By 1860, Johann was living in Union Township, Union County, Pennsylvania with his son's family. It is unknown if Theresia immigrated with the family or died in Germany.

Johann died in 1878 in Danville, Montour County, Pennsylvania and he was buried there at St. Hubert's Cemetery.

Johann VonBank and Theresia Baer had 2 known children, both born in Bleichheim:
  1. Johannes VonBank (or John Bank) (1827-1894) married Ursula Weiss (1830-1905).
  2. Magdalena VonBank (1829-?).

John Anthony Swoyer and Elizabeth Arnold Family


John Anthony Swoyer (or Zweyer or Zweier) was born 17 April 1790 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Stephan Zweier and Anna Maria Stahl. He married Elizabeth Arnold in April 1819. Elizabeth was born 25 January 1798 in Pennsylvania to Herman Arnold and Catharina Allwein of Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

Anthony and Elizabeth lived in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania before moving to Limestone Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania in the 1840s.

Anthony died on 23 December 1858 and Elizabeth died on 1 February 1863. They were both buried in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Bastress, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.

John Anthony Swoyer and Elizabeth Arnold had 8 children:
  1. Margaret Swoyer (1823-1906) married Joel Eck (1822-1902).
  2. Joseph Swoyer (1826-1910) married Margarita Glutzembecker (1831-1907).
  3. Lucetta Swoyer (1830-1905) married William Eck (1823-1900).
  4. George Swoyer (1822-?) married Catharine Klotzenbieger (abt 1831-?).
  5. Samuel Swoyer (1836-?) married Catharine A Greth (1832-1909).
  6. William H Swoyer (1838-1864) died from a wound received at the Battle of the Wilderness during the Civil War.
  7. Catharine A Swoyer (1840-1827) married 1st Joseph Jeremiah Eck (1827-1883). She married 2nd John Edward Allwein (1828-1909).
  8. Franklin Swoyer (1843-1928) married Sarah Anna Eck (1847-1927).

Joseph Eck and Maria Bauer Family


Joseph Eck was born 4 March 1797 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Joseph Eck and Mary Agatha Riffel. Joseph married Maria Bauer on 9 January 1816 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. She was born circa 1794 in Berks County to Peter Bauer and Rosina Schnabel.

Joseph and Mary lived in Berks County before moving to Limestone Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania in the late 1830s.

Mary died 1 May 1848 and was buried in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Bastress, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Joseph died 27 November 1856. He was probably buried at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, but his gravestone no longer exists.

Joseph Eck and Mary Bauer had 14 children:
  1. Mary Anna Eck (1816-1891) married Peter Felix (1816-1885).
  2. Reuben Eck (1817-1884) married Mary Reichard (1818-1870).
  3. Samuel Eck (abt 1819-1877) married Susanna Faust (1825-?).
  4. Nathan Eck (1820-1894) married Margaret Swoyer (1825-1900), daughter of Joseph Swoyer.
  5. Joel Eck (1822-1902) married Margaret Swoyer (1820-1906), daughter of John Anthony Swoyer.
  6. William Eck (1823-1900) married Lucetta Swoyer (1830-1905), daughter of John Anthony Swoyer.
  7. James Eck (1824-1897) married Mary Ann Swoyer (1828-1910), daughter of Joseph Swoyer.
  8. Augustus Eck (1826-1906) married Francisca Maria Dougherty (1834-1898).
  9. Joseph Jeremiah Eck (1827-1883) married Catharine Swoyer (1840-1902), daughter of John Anthony Swoyer.
  10. Leah Eck (1829-1902) married Cyrus Swoyer (1823-1904), son of Joseph Swoyer.
  11. Susannah Eck (1831-1850).
  12. Lorenzo Eck (1832-1901) married Ellen Monaghan (abt 1836-?).
  13. Jonas Eck (1834-?).
  14. Caroline Eck (1836-1854).
